The Kent County Law Enforcement Association
(KCLEA) is announcing that the organization will begin
a fund raising campaign starting in January of 2006. The
Kent County Law Enforcement Association is composed of
Road Patrol Deputies, Detectives, Sergeants and Emergency
Communication Operators of the Kent County Sheriff's
Department.
Businesses and residents throughout Kent County will
be contacted by phone and subsequently sent information
about the program through the mail. The purpose
is to use the proceeds to donate to many deserving charities
in our community, such as Shop with the Sheriff and The
Children's Assessment Center, as well as supporting or
opposing any issues in our community that have an impact
on public safety.
The KCLEA wants the Kent County citizens and business
owners to know that the program is a legitimate one worth
considering. All solicitations material will be
sent out on official letterhead and shall included a
sponsor decal in the original package before a donation
is sent. Recipients should also know that we've
hired M.P.I, a professional company registered with the
Attorney General's Office to assist us with this effort.
All donations should be make directly to the Kent County
Law Enforcement Association.
