80 minutes. That is how long it took a Grand Rapids jury today to decide that Jeffrey Vanvels was guilty of murdering Bob Kozminski.
Due to the terribly difficult and hard work of Grand Rapids Police Department Officers, Detectives Erika Fannon and Philip Betz and Kent County Prosecutor William Forsyth the jury was able to see the evidence they needed to convict an evil man.
Although the Kozminski family and Officer Kozminski's Law Enforcement family may never find peace with Bobby's death, the Officers of the Grand Rapids Police Department can be proud of the work they did and the way they handled themselves in the face of such terrible loss. Their efforts have brought justice to a heart broken mother and her family.
