A 60 year old Jamaican born man, Alburn Edward Blake, walked into a West Palm Beach Wendy's restaurant last week during the busy lunch hour and began shooting randomly. The gunman killed paramedic Rafael Vazquez, who had just left a a training course in a mass casualty situation, before turning the gun on himself.
Vazquez had gone back into the restaurant to exchange a toy for his 4-year-old son who had accompanied him along with this wife. As Vazquez stood at the counter, he was shot point
blank in the back by a gunman wearing a jacket, tie and baseball cap.
